Arthur Hazard Memorial Music Concert

Arthur Hazard was an amazing musician for over 65 years and played the baritone saxophone from the age of 12 until he went on hospice at home last year. Arthur loved playing his horn “Aggie” and could be seen at The Range Cafe in Bernalillo, NM playing his big baritone sax with some of his closest friends and bandmates in their house band “The DeRangers” every Thursday night for the last 10 years.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to The Rhode Island Rhythm & Blues Preservation Society (RI RBPS), an organization that helps provide instruments to school students who can’t afford to buy musical instruments that schools are unable provide. Art loved teaching young students how to play the saxophone and this would be something that will be done in honor of his musical legacy.
