Em’s Femmes

Em’s Femmes is a Providence-based, all-femme band playing joyful, danceable music. With a unique sound rooted in jazz improvisation, they use retro ingredients to create thoroughly modern originals and reimagined covers.
The Femmes were convened in 2021 to carve out a space for women and nonbinary folks in a male-dominated music scene. Catch them playing around Providence, from WaterFire to the Providence Wine Bar to jamming on the pedestrian bridge…and The Blue Room.
